Amandine Hersant is the Executive Director of Planète Urgence, an organization dedicated to forest preservation and supporting local communities. With a degree in international business, she has built a committed career spanning corporate, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit sectors. At Planète Urgence, she has steered the strategy toward nature-based solutions, including mangrove restoration in Cameroon and agroforestry projects in Peru. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded its impact, working with 100 partners across 15 countries and mobilizing over 10,000 volunteers. Amandine is also actively involved in climate action, serving on the Climate Commission of Coordination Sud and exploring innovative financing solutions for environmental NGOs.
