Passionate about the poles, islands, and mountains, Daphné Buiron holds a PhD in climatology and glaciology. In 2012, she fulfilled a dream by spending a year in Terre Adélie as a glaciologist-chemist during the winter season. Since then, she has explored the high latitudes, leading expeditions, coordinating scientific missions, and conducting educational and artistic projects.

For her, exploration means understanding the complexity of the world and weaving connections between science, art, and the humanities. Through writing, photography, and lectures, she shares this quest for meaning and supports committed initiatives. Facing the challenges of tomorrow, she advocates for collective, hybrid, and innovative approaches, driven by knowledge, dreams, and wonder.
