At 48, Raphaël Guastavi is currently Deputy Director of the Circular Economy Department at the French Agency for Ecological Transition, after having served as head of the "Eco-design & Recycling" department. With a scientific background, holding a master’s degree in cellular biology and physiology supplemented by a postgraduate diploma in Environmental, Land Management, Agricultural, and Agri-Food Development, he began his career at ADEME as an engineer specializing in waste issues in Alsace.
