Alice DI CONCETTO

Alice DI CONCETTO

Director of the European Institute for Animal Law & Policy

Alice Di Concetto is the founder of the European Institute for Animal Law & Policy, where she serves as both Director and General Counsel. She also teaches a course on animal ethics at Sciences Po in Paris, France.

Before founding the Institute, Alice was a Research Fellow in the Animal Law & Policy Program at Harvard Law School from 2016 to 2018. She has published several articles in legal journals, including the European Journal of Risk Regulation and the Revue semestrielle de droit animalier. She is also the author of the forthcoming book EU Animal Law (Edward Elgar Publishing, to be published in 2025).

Alice holds a specialized Master’s degree in Animal Law (LL.M, 2016) from Lewis & Clark Law School in the United States, where she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship. She is also a graduate of Sciences Po Law School in Paris, with a Master’s in Economic Law (2015).
