A graduate of Groupe ESC Lille, David Sève is the Director of Commitments and the Nature & Découvertes Foundation. A long-time advocate at Nature & Découvertes, David Sève became the Foundation’s Director in 1998. For 30 years, the foundation has annually donated 10% of its profits to grassroots organizations. This represents over 3,500 initiatives supporting nature conservation and education in mainland France and overseas territories, amounting to €15 million.In 2015, David Sève expanded his responsibilities to include the company’s sustainable development efforts. Under his leadership, Nature & Découvertes became the first company in France to earn B Corp certification, positioning itself as a pioneer of a new participatory donation model: the “round-up at checkout” initiative. This concept quickly became a source of pride for store teams actively involved in sourcing projects for the program.Since its integration into the FNAC-DARTY Group, the brand has further strengthened its CSR commitments, embedding them deeply into its business model. It became a mission-driven company in 2022 and is now pursuing its fourth B Corp certification.
