Philippe LÉVÊQUE
Author of the Ecofrugal Guide and Founder of monatelier-ecofrugal.fr
Author, speaker, coach, and social economy entrepreneur, Philippe founded Ecofrugal Project in 2012 to promote the widespread adoption of ecological and economical solutions. After working for investment banks for 13 years (Merrill Lynch, Citibank), he shifted his career with a clear ambition: to accelerate the ecological transition by fostering knowledge sharing, cooperation, and the exchange of ideas.
His first book, Le Guide Ecofrugal, published in 2012, highlights positive solutions that can be implemented in daily life. In 2018, with the support of private and public partners, including ADEME, he launched monatelier-ecofrugal.fr to encourage citizens to engage in their personal and professional ecological transition by cultivating the desire to act.
The concept of ecofrugality, which he revisits and modernizes, draws its roots from the writings of Epicurus and our ancestors. According to Stratégies magazine, it represents a new way of producing and consuming that aligns with the challenges of our time. Rather than fostering guilt over environmental impact, it proposes a lifestyle where each person finds meaning through responsible consumption.
