Valérie MARTIN

Head of Citizen Engagement and Media Service at ADEME

Holder of a postgraduate degree (DEA) in Environmental Economics from the University of Paris I, Valérie Martin joined the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) in June 1993. She has held various positions within the agency and has been the Head of the Citizen Mobilization and Media Department since January 1, 2008. In this role, she leads ADEME’s public and youth engagement strategy and coordinates actions promoting more responsible communication and marketing practices.
She has contributed to several collective works, including New Myths, New Imaginaries for a Sustainable World (Les Petits Matins, 2015) and Another World is Possible; Lost in Transitions? (Éditions de l’Aube, 2018). Additionally, she is the lead author of The Guide to Responsible Communication (ADEME Editions – January 2020, 2nd edition October 2022), alongside Mathieu Jahnich and Thierry Libaert.©Jean Chiscano
