Dr. Anne Sénéquier is a psychiatrist and researcher specializing in Health - Environment - Climate. She divides her time between her medical practice, research at IRIS, and knowledge sharing. As co-director of the Global Health Observatory at IRIS, her work focuses on the interconnectedness of urban, environmental, health, societal, and geopolitical issues, which are the subject of her upcoming book. She frequently appears in the media to advocate for this integrated approach.
With a dual background in public health and international relations, Dr. Sénéquier has collaborated with organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Action Against Hunger (ACF). Currently, she works with Médecins du Monde (MdM) on topics related to environmental health and gender-based violence.
She is the author of several diverse works, including "Geopolitics Made Simple," "The Geopolitics of Health," and "My Child’s Anxiety." She often ties her interests together with the assertion that “geopolitics is the psychiatry of nations.”
