Honorary Inspector General of Social Affairs and President of the Monitoring Committee of PNNS 4

Daniel Nizri is a medical oncologist and honorary Inspector General of Social Affairs. Since August 2020, he has chaired the monitoring committee of the National Nutrition Health Program (PNNS) 2019/2023. He was president of the French National Cancer League from June 2021 to May 2024 and vice-president of the National Cancer Institute from 2021 to 2024. A former Inspector General of Social Affairs, he contributed to the organization of care and safety of practices between 2011 and 2019. He has also served as a general advisor for healthcare institutions and technical advisor to several ministries for the cancer and Alzheimer plans. An associate professor of oncology at the University of Paris VI, he also practiced at the Pitié-Salpêtrière, where he led the oral oncology unit from 2000 to 2005.
