With extensive clinical, strategic, and managerial experience, Raphaël Amar is a passionate healthcare professional focused on the optical, medical, and surgical innovations of tomorrow.A trained orthoptist, he holds degrees in Health Industry Strategy and Management (ESSEC, 2015), Applied AI in Health (DU - Paris Cité, 2021), and Laser & Medicine (DIU - Bordeaux, 2010).Raphaël Amar practiced for over 15 years at the American Hospital of Paris and the Clinique de la Vision in Paris, where he gained significant clinical experience in visual health, imaging, and eye surgery. In addition, he has published numerous articles and presented at conferences, and he has co-authored around ten specialized ophthalmology books, including the most recent, Refractions: From Diagnosis to Optical and Surgical Treatments, published by Elsevier-Masson in 2022.In 2016, he established the Visual Health Center at ZEISS Vision Care France (ophthalmic lenses), and since 2021, he has been the Medical and Marketing Director of the ZEISS Meditec France division, primarily focused on medical and surgical technologies in ophthalmology.
