Véronique ANDRIEUX

Véronique ANDRIEUX

CEO of WWF France

Véronique Andrieux is a specialist in international development. She holds an MBA from ESADE in Barcelona and advanced degrees in Development Studies from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and in Public Policy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.

She has served as Regional Director for South America and the Caribbean, as well as West Africa, at Oxfam. Previously, she was Senior Advisor on development policies at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a Senior Advisor to the Club de Madrid. She has held field responsibilities in Latin America, West and Central Africa, and the Mediterranean region.
Véronique has led several evaluation and planning processes and represented the Spanish government in various multilateral working groups on official development assistance. She was the Executive Director of Action Against Hunger and, since August 2019, has been the CEO of WWF France.
The mission of the World Wide Fund for Nature is to halt environmental degradation, protect habitats and species, and work alongside key stakeholders addressing climate change and large-scale industrial agriculture. In 2024, she was awarded the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite National in France.
