Sociologist and specialist in third places, Antoine Burretr authored the first doctoral thesis and the first book in French dedicated to this concept. He has contributed to numerous emblematic third places as well as national and European programs. Antoine works with public and private organizations, as well as communities, to strengthen the role of third places globally. His latest book, published by FYP Editions, is titled: “Nos tiers-lieux. Défendre les lieux de sociabilité du quotidien” (Our Third Places: Defending Everyday Spaces of Sociability).
