Diane DUPRÉ LA TOUR

Co-founder of Les Petites Cantines

Diane Dupré la Tour, born in 1981, started her career as a journalist in the economic press. In 2016, she co-founded Les Petites Cantines with Etienne Thouvenot, a network of pay-what-you-can restaurants committed to ecological and social transition. An Ashoka Fellow, her areas of focus include trust, the societal conditions needed to implement pay-what-you-can pricing, and the relational aspect of food. Passionate about the societal impact of our relationship with money, she is also a spokesperson for the Milliard initiative, a civil action force aiming to raise one billion euros to finance a just ecological transition. In 2024, she will publish her first book, a narrative titled Comme à la maison (Actes Sud).
