Executive coordinator of the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB) and Legal Advisor to the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples and Organizations of the Northeast, Minas Gerais, and Espírito Santo (APOINME)

In videoconference - Dinamam Tuxá, a member of the Tuxá people of Bahia, Brazil, has over 20 years of experience advocating for Indigenous rights, territorial protection, and climate justice. As an Executive Coordinator of the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB), he advances Indigenous voices on national and international platforms. He is also Co-Chair of the Global Alliance of Territorial Communities (GATC) and a lawyer for the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples and Organizations of the Northeast, Minas Gerais, and Espírito Santo (Apoinme). Dinamam holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Brasília (UnB). His work reflects a deep commitment to fostering justice, resilience, and sustainability for Indigenous peoples. Through his leadership, Dinamam has become a key figure in the Brazilian Indigenous movement, inspiring transformative actions to secure the rights and territories of Indigenous communities.
