Fanny LACROIX

Mayor of Châtel-en-Trièves and Vice President of the Association of Rural Mayors of France

Fanny Lacroix, born in 1985, is the mayor of Châtel-en-Trièves, a small commune of 500 inhabitants located in Isère, which she has been managing since 2020. She is part of a generation of young mayors determined to restore meaning to public action by actively involving the residents. Under her leadership, the community has seen its inhabitants engage in various projects, making Châtel-en-Trièves a model territory. Furthermore, as the head of ecological transition at the AMRF, she is leading a discussion with around one hundred communes on how mayors could play a more significant role in this field.
