A Togolese architect and anthropologist, Sénamé Koffi Agbodjinou strives to envision the African city of tomorrow. In his view, it is necessary to affirm an African urban model that enables it to reconnect with its roots and its environment, while embracing technological modernity.
Faced with the emergence of smart cities, he proposes a different way of looking at the use of technology, by rethinking social links and using local resources to create a smart, sustainable city. To this end, he has created L'Africaine d'architecture, a platform for research and experimentation.
