Laurent Boillot joined the LVMH Group in 2002 at Guerlain, where he spent much of his career as CEO. He orchestrated the transformation and revitalization of the House of Guerlain, launching an ambitious sustainability initiative for the brand, symbolized by its iconic bee motif.
In 2014, in addition to his responsibilities at Guerlain, Laurent Boillot was appointed Executive Vice President of Make Up For Ever. He is also the founder and president of the Franco-Chinese skincare brand Cha Ling.
In October 2019, his appointment by LVMH as President of Hennessy was announced and took effect in January 2020. Since then, Laurent Boillot’s goal has been to enhance Hennessy’s standing as the most prestigious and responsible spirits house in the world. With expertise passed down through generations, the House fosters an open-minded approach, connected with all the cultures of the world. It is strengthening its commitments to sustainable development in collaboration with its winemaker partners and all its stakeholders. The pioneering spirit of the House is fully expressed in its pursuit of new challenges. By combining desirability and sustainability for Hennessy, Laurent Boillot is now focused on preserving, enriching, and passing on the legacy of the House.
A graduate of Neoma Business School, he began his career in 1988 with the Havas Group before joining Unilever in 1990.
