Mathieu ALAPETITE

Mathieu ALAPETITE

Director General of France Silver Eco

Engineer by training (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers), Mathieu ALAPETITE worked in the industrial sector for six years before joining the office of the Minister for Territorial Planning, Rurality, and Local Authorities as Deputy Chief of Staff. He later joined Groupe SOS, specifically Wimoov, a mobility support organization (assisting vulnerable groups such as people in social integration, job seekers, and isolated seniors), where he served as Director of Public Affairs, Partnerships, and Communication. This role gave him the opportunity to follow the legislative progress of the Mobility Orientation Law (LOM) and contribute to the creation of an observatory dedicated to access to and the evolution of mobility practices following the law's passage. After three years with the organization, Mathieu ALAPETITE joined France Silver Eco and the Silver Economy sector in 2021 as Deputy Director General. A year later, he became the Director General and Secretary General of the sector. Passionate about transport and mobility issues and their impact on territories and citizens, he works on these topics within the Jean Jaurès Foundation as an associate expert.
