Member of the Citizens' Convention on Climate, Mayor of Souvigné-sur-Sarthe, Regional Councilor of Pays de la Loire

Mélanie Cosnier, 52 years old, is married and a mother of three children (17, 23, and 26 years old). A former home care assistant, she was randomly selected to participate in the Citizens' Climate Convention. Co-president of the Association of the 150 until the passing of the Climate-Resilience Law in Parliament, she was elected mayor of Souvigné-sur-Sarthe in 2020, before becoming a regional councilor for the Pays de la Loire in 2021.
