Olivier ALEXANDRE

Sociologist, Researcher at CNRS, Member of the Internet and Society Center, and Lecturer at Sciences Po Paris

Olivier Alexandre is a sociologist, holds a Ph.D. from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, and is a research fellow at the CNRS and a member of the Center for Internet and Society. He has been a visiting scholar at Northwestern University and Stanford, and he teaches at Sciences Po Paris. His work focuses on culture and digital technology. For several years, he has studied the tech industry and the development of Silicon Valley. He has notably published La Tech. Quand la Silicon Valley refait le monde (Seuil, 2023) and Digital: Reinventing Work (Peter Lang, 2023, co-edited with Monique Dagnaud). ©Hermance Triay
