 REZA

REZA

Photographer

Reza, a committed and humanist photographer, left architecture in 1979 to dedicate himself to "photography in the service of humanity." Since then, he has traveled the world, capturing conflicts, revolutions, and moments of life, published by international outlets such as National Geographic and Time Magazine. His exhibitions, including Destins croisés and Rêve d’Humanité, reflect his profound perspective on our world. In parallel, he volunteers his efforts to educate young people and women from underprivileged backgrounds in visual storytelling. As the founder of the NGO Ainaworld and Reza Visual Academy, he trains individuals in photography and journalism, particularly in refugee camps.
The author of 33 books and the recipient of numerous awards, he is a Chevalier of the French National Order of Merit and a Senior Fellow of Ashoka. Reza embodies a vision where art and commitment converge to build a more just world. ©Tim Mantoani
