Rodolphe LANDEMAINE
Entrepreneurship for the Living
Baker and Pastry Chef by training, Rodolphe Landemaine honed his skills at prestigious institutions before starting his own business in 2007, founding his first bakery, MAISON LANDEMAINE. Today, the entrepreneur leads two bakery chains with a total of 30 locations and more than 500 employees. In 2014, having been a vegetarian since childhood, Rodolphe embraced veganism and became actively involved with associations to promote this eco-friendly and animal-respectful way of consuming.
In 2018, the first chapters of two joint projects began to take shape, leading in 2020 to the creation of LAND&MONKEYS, Paris's first 100% plant-based bakery, and YUMGO, a plant-based egg substitute for professionals. Today, Land&Monkeys is expanding into franchising and opened its first location in Bordeaux in 2024.
An entrepreneur and activist, Rodolphe decided in 2022 to bridge the worlds of business and the public good, discovering the model of "shareholder foundations" alongside Prophil®. This reflection led to the creation of the DEMAIN SUR TERRE Endowment Fund, with the mission of promoting food resilience and the regeneration of life. The DOMAINE DU COSTIL, a property acquired by the Landemaine family in Normandy and transferred to the Demain sur Terre Fund, now serves as an open-air laboratory to experiment with concrete solutions to local economic and social challenges.
