Vanessa Proux, Doctor of Science, General Director of SupBiotech, a specialized engineering school in biotechnologyHolding a Ph.D. obtained in 2001 from the Enzyme Technology Laboratory led by Professor Daniel Thomas at UTC, Vanessa Proux joined Ionis Education Group in 2004 to work on a new school project dedicated to biotechnology. Motivated by the challenge of creating an innovative engineering school, she embraced this educational endeavor, aiming to address the skill needs of biotechnology professionals by training engineers.Vanessa Proux chaired the Training Commission of Medicen from 2014 to 2018 and joined its Board of Directors in 2018, serving until 2024. She has chaired the renamed Skills Commission of Medicen since 2020. Vanessa Proux is also a board member of the think tank Adebiotech and the Bernard Gregory Association.Finally, with SupBiotech becoming a mission-driven company in October 2021, Vanessa Proux works closely with her teams to fulfill the school’s CSR mission within the framework of sustainable development.
