Streaming - Cities in transition: solutions for a livable future

More than one person in two lives in a city, and by 2050, according to the UN, almost 70% of the world's population will be city dwellers. In the face of ecological threats and social fracturing, it is becoming imperative to rethink our cities and the ways in which we live in them, travel around them, consume in them and socialise in them. These issues call into question their design, their organisation and our lifestyles. In this session, we will look at some of the ambitious projects that are already being developed at the heart of our regions, to see how we can build more resilient cities that offer a healthy and pleasant living environment. To achieve this, businesses, local authorities and citizens must work together to reinvent the city of tomorrow, designed to last in harmony with the living world.
