Claire CHOISNE

Claire CHOISNE

Creative Director of Boucheron

Creative Director of Boucheron since 2011, Claire Choisne graduated from the prestigious Haute École de Joaillerie on Rue du Louvre in Paris. She stood out during her training by winning the Jacques Lenfant Prize, which rewards the top three jewelry students at the national level. Freshly graduated, her talent led her to teach drawing at the same institution while simultaneously developing her own business.

In 2001, she joined Lorenz Bäumer (now Bäumer Vendôme), where she would later become the Director of the Design Studio. During her time there, she developed collections for prestigious maisons such as Chanel Joaillerie, Louis Vuitton Joaillerie, and Guerlain.

In 2011, Claire Choisne joined Maison Boucheron. From the moment she arrived, she saw it as her duty to carry on the vision of Frédéric Boucheron, who, even in his time, pushed the boundaries of the industry. Through her collections, unveiled annually during Paris Couture Week, she has shaped a unique approach in Place Vendôme: questioning the very notion of what is precious.

Beyond gold and diamonds, she places emotion and dreams at the heart of her creative process. Her bold approach is reflected in her exploration of innovative techniques and unexpected materials, such as real flower petals or aerogel—a substance composed of 99.8% air and silica, developed by NASA. Her High Jewelry collections are a testament to boundless creativity, where exceptional craftsmanship meets cutting-edge technology.

A mother to a daughter and passionate about beauty in all its forms, Claire Choisne draws inspiration from her travels, discovering the wonders that nature has to offer.
