Clara ARNAUD

Writer

Clara Arnaud has been working in the field of international cooperation for fifteen years and has lived in China, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Honduras. She is the author of two travel narratives about journeys on foot with horses and three novels. Following La Verticale du fleuve (2021) and Et vous passerez comme des vents fous (2023), her third novel published by Actes Sud has achieved significant success and won the Ecology Novel Prize. Clara Arnaud's writing is deeply inspired by her itinerant lifestyle and her connection with other living beings, particularly horses. In 2024, Devenir cheval, co-directed with Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Émilie Haillot, will be released. She now resides in Ariège, in a high-altitude hamlet.
