Emmanuelle GOUILLART

Scientific Director of Saint-Gobain Research Paris

Emmanuelle Gouillart, Scientific Director of Saint-Gobain Research Paris since 2011, a key R&D center of the Saint-Gobain Group, the world leader in sustainable construction, is a physicist by training. She conducted research on fluid mixing and high-temperature glass. Through academic collaborations within the mixed unit CNRS Saint-Gobain, which she headed from 2013 to 2019, she developed open research programs based on industrial issues such as reducing the carbon footprint of glass manufacturing processes. With Saint-Gobain's R&D teams, she is now launching research programs on decarbonizing industrial processes, the circular economy in construction and new building methods.
2008 SFP Daniel Guinier Young Researcher Award for her thesis on chaotic mixing
2023 Prix Ivan Peyches from the Académie des Sciences for her contribution to understanding glass mass transport phenomena.
