Pierre-Alexandre Bapst joined Hermès in 2006, where he successively held the positions of Director of Audit and Risk, then Director of Digital Operations and CRM. In 2012, he became Head of Sustainability at Hermès International, where he is responsible for defining and implementing the group’s global sustainability strategy. He provides operational support to production departments, distribution subsidiaries, and corporate functions. He also represents Hermès within the Livelihoods Carbon Fund and sits on the board of ORSE.
A graduate of ESCP in 1987, Pierre-Alexandre began his career at Arthur Andersen in Paris, where he was a Partner for six years. Furthermore, as a Navy officer and a certified Marine commando, he remains closely connected to the oceans through surfing and scuba diving.
