Didier de la Porte is a biodynamic farmer and co-author of the Biodynamic Calendars and Walking with the Living. His passion for nature began at age 9, creating a plant herbarium and raising poultry and bees. Graduating as an agronomist in 1975 with a specialization in Soil Science, he researched soil microbial ecology and bio-indicator plants. After years of biodynamic seminars, he returned to the family farm in 1978 to practice biodynamic farming. Since 2009, he has co-authored the Biodynamic Sowing Calendar, integrating planetary positions with weather forecasting.
