A Doctor of Ecology, Thierry Caquet has served as Head of the Department of “Ecology of Forests, Grasslands, and Aquatic Environments” and as Director of the “Adaptation to Climate Change in Agriculture and Forestry” metaprogram at INRA. Currently, he is the Scientific Director for the Environment at INRAE, where he coordinates the Institute's research on climate change mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity, natural risks, and the sustainable management of natural resources. He is the author of over 50 publications in international journals and around twenty book chapters, and he has contributed to the coordination of seven books, including the two most recent on agroecology.
