Eva Morel graduated from McGill University and Sciences Po Paris with a degree in environmental policy and has been involved in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. In 2020, she joined the parliamentary team of Deputy Sandrine Le Feur, who specializes in agricultural and food transition. It was during this time that she became aware of the role journalists and the media play in bringing ecological transition issues to the political agenda. In 2022, she co-founded the association QuotaClimat, which works to improve media coverage of environmental issues through outreach, national, European, and international advocacy, and data production. QuotaClimat is currently promoting a bill under examination in the French Parliament, has led the development of the Media Observatory on Ecology, and was behind the first financial sanctions imposed by Arcom for climate misinformation in French audiovisual media.
