Sebastien MAIRE

General Delegate of France Sustainable Cities and Territories

Before joining the FVD team, he held several positions in local government management. He served as an elected official and deputy mayor of his hometown, Besançon, overseeing university relations and international cooperation. Later, he became the Economic Development Director for the city of Pantin, followed by a role as Chief of Staff in Montreuil, where he led a comprehensive overhaul of the urban project, emphasizing ecology and sustainable development. He continued his career as the High Official for Resilience of the City of Paris.

He advocates for a holistic and systemic approach to sustainable development and contributes his experience and expertise in territorial resilience as well as ecological and social transition.
