Cooperate, Mutualize: Let's build a common future

In a world undergoing profound change, efficiency has long been sought by compartmentalising knowledge and sectors of activity. It was believed that performance was achieved by splitting up tasks and rigid specialisation. 
A current of thought and tried and tested models of governance show us that robustness, hybridisation, pooling and cooperation must inspire us and bring us together to overcome crises and transitions.
Instead of divisive performance, let's draw inspiration from Life to develop a collective resilience that will enable us to foster enriching and innovative collaborations and build a resilient future. 
How can we rethink our models and our relationships to build this new world? We need to weave a common future together.

Protect and repair: nature has its rights
” Human beings are born and remain free and equal in rights ”. For two centuries, this phrase has been the foundation of our democracy and the rule of law. But in the face of the climate emergency and the destruction of biodiversity, this anthropocentric vision needs to be overtaken. It's time to put ourselves back among the living and recognize nature's rights.
Rivers, forests, soils... must be considered as entities with rights of their own to guarantee their protection. This change calls into question our utilitarian relationship with the environment, and raises a crucial issue of justice: how can we balance human needs with those of ecosystems?

Climate: will the transition happen?
For a persistent and demagogic minority, global warming is nothing more than a conspiracy. However, the Copernicus observatory has announced that in 2024 the rise in average global temperature will almost certainly exceed 1.5°C compared with the pre-industrial period.
Ten years after the Paris Agreements, where do we really stand? These 196 countries committed themselves to limiting global warming, but as Jean-Baptiste Fressoz points out, ‘all the talk about transition is a sham; it hasn't even begun yet’. And does this ‘climate transition’ make sense without an overhaul of our economic models, an energy revolution and a shift towards agro-ecology?
This session proposes to revisit the Paris Agreements, to question the very notion of transition and to draw up a realistic assessment. With a nuanced dialogue, it aims to identify the real priorities and key stages for a fair and sustainable transition.

Mental health: a silent emergency, voices rising up
Mental health, designated a ‘Great National Cause 2025’, is now at the heart of public debate. In a world where the pressure to succeed and dependence on screens dictate our lives, this cause has become a silent emergency: 40% of students suffer from depressive symptoms and 1 in 5 people is affected by a mental disorder.
However, the Covid crisis has revealed the fragility of our mental health system. Structures are saturated, there are too few practitioners, and almost 50% of people in distress do not have access to appropriate care. Over and above care, this crisis highlights the crucial need to raise awareness and identify the needs of each individual patient.
To move forward, we urgently need to redefine mental health in terms of a global approach, taking into account the social, economic and environmental factors that influence our well-being. 
Education, prevention and destigmatisation are essential. Society must play an active role in creating an environment conducive to psychological well-being, so that everyone can take care of their mental health.

En quoi le terme “Économie Régénérative” propose-t-il d’aller au-delà du développement durable ? Il s’agit à la fois de limiter les impacts négatifs des activités mais surtout de créer de l’impact positif pour régénérer le Vivant (humain et non humain) et d'un changement profond de vision de nos modèles économiques, sociétaux et d'organisation, respectant les limites planétaires et planchers sociaux. Comment voir le concret dans cette approche et l’application dans les entreprises et comment éviter le greenwashing ?
